Will Crypto Bounce Back Or Has The Bubble Burst?

Over the last nine months, we’ve seen significant price adjustments in the crypto space - including drops of almost 70% in the prices of some of the most widely followed assets like Bitcoin. Have these substantial reductions shown that the perceived promise of these technologies was hollow? Or is this just part of the normal ebb and flow of these asset prices? Well, Jeremy believes we’re going through a healthy contraction right now.

If you think about the evolution of emerging technologies, there’s always a hype cycle. Think about the internet and when the bubble burst. We went through a couple of years of unbearable winter. And during that winter is when the fraudsters and the crappy business models were flushed out. Jeremy believes that that’s the exact same thing happening right now. It’s painful, but it’s necessary.


Who is Jeremy Epstein

Jeremy Epstein, Co-Chief Investment Officer of the Manager, has spent the past 7 years deeply immersed in the world of crypto assets and blockchain technology. During that time, he has worked with some of the leading and most innovative companies in the blockchain/decentralization space including Nexus Mutual, Arweave, SingularityNet, Zcash, Dapper Labs, Alethea, and Unique Networks. He serves currently as the CMO of Radix. In addition, he has served as the Co-Chief Investment Officer of the Crypto Futura Fund since 2017.
